Driver issue? JVC GR-D371U camcorder, have correct firewire, device unidentified, called support, Vista OS? - jvc gr dv2000 drivers
I try, a video from my digital video camera JVC GR-D371U import model number. I can import pictures (USB, and the team has an SD card reader, if he does not deal) with the cables.

A few questions ...
First, the USB and FireWire devices behave differently - the communication protocols are very different. If the FireWire card is working properly, then it will work. There is no specific device "FireWire driver ... but with USB, each element must be a USB driver installed, is properly represented individual and the right place.
I hope the USB and FireWire cable is not connected simultaneously to the computer and video camera. It is a quick way to cook a port. FireWire or USB-only, please. Check my computer for Firewire - or 1384 - and make sure that the port is active. If not, what is the first place to fix. The FireWire drivers installed correctly in the right place.
